I have thought the same for a long time. If Perry's fish was handled now days like it was back then, it would have not stood the scrutiny. Btw, Doug Hannon agrees with us as well Don, so we must be right lol!I always felt the Perry record was more a standard assigned by history than assigned by fact. The huge bass being caught in California are legit records in my book since they are weighed, photographed and witnessed with documented proof of the catch.
This latest world record catch has gone through the ringer to get approved/disproved and if it passes that test then its well deserved.
