Me and a few friends fished a stripper pit northeast of bluegrass on saturday and filled a 5 gallon bucket with crappie, a few gills, and 1 rock bass. Caught a few largemouth as well. All crappie were between 8 and 12''. Someone else that was there before us caught a 6lb bass. These were all caught in 6' of water or less. It was a great day of fishing. Ice was 4-5'' thick and clear. You could see the fish through the ice once you cleared the snow off.
