APB - Regardless of where a Toyota is made, regardless of how many americans work for Toyota, it's still a foriegn vehicle in "my opinion", always has been, always will be. I guess I'm old school in this regard.

This is where I'm going to get off the bus, politics and religeon, to many if's, and's, but's what if's and opinions, too deep of a subject for me in the long run not to mention how time consuming it tends to get...everyone who's posted provided some pretty good insight...and I feel I'm leaving this thread as a more knowledgable person because of it.

Do I think she is very attractive, you bet I do. Is that the real reason I like her, please, that's insulting. not even I'm that shallow. I like her because I can connect with her, what I mean is she is very down to earth. I see her as a person I could approach and identify with and have a conversation with. I don't think she views herself as high and mighty and above us Peons like our POTUS, quite frankly the man Erks me and makes me want to vomit everytime I see him. I watched her recent interview on O'Reily and find her to be articulate and very intelligent. I also like her common sense views and approach on many subjects we are faced with. I think if brains and IQ is so important to everybody that bash her let's have a Obama/Palin face off and let a group of braniacs decide who's smarter. I bet she beats him hands down.

What made Obama a good choice for President I mean really what has he accomplished in his ENTIRE LIFE that made him a good choice. He gives a good speech and now walks like George Jefferson, is there anything else. Im still covinced he is a closet Muslim, I can think it if I want to I pay taxes. He said it twice in an interview and had to be corrected twice, hmmm. I also think he was born in Africa and that computer on-line generated Birth Certificate doesn't prove squat to me. They didn't have computer BC when he was born, show me the real one please, or something more concrete. I think other than Nutty Nancy he is the most liberal politician to ever be elected to anything, never the less the Presidency.

He has sided with the Palestians. What is he gonna do about Iran? Why hasn't the Israel's attacked, because they know POTUS does not have their back. He is weak, very weak, the entire WORLD views him as weak. The Russians wouldn't even shake his hand at a Conference and basically skoffed at him with Zero respect. Personally I think he is a joke.

Would Palin make a good President, maybe not, but I'm not 100% convinced of that. Ask yourself this how in the world could she possible do any worse than what we have now.

For those of you that voted for Barry, tell me ONE, JUST ONE SOLITARY thing that this man has accomplished for the good of this great country, I'm patiently waiting..........tick tock tick tock.

Whoever thinks any one...at least any one here, would vote for someone based on looks is...well...c'mon, you're kidding me right? Like Mhall said, we ain't that shallow....heck yea Palin looks good...I mean to me personally I think she looks really good...but so does Julianne Hough and I sure as heck ain't trying to push Julianne for President. Looks has nothing to do with why I like Palin.

I already said it before earlier in this thread or a different recent thread the reasoning for my liking her, it's simply because like George wrote, SHE's more like NORMAL Americans than anyone else that has ran for ANY office recently. And exactly like Mhall wrote, I also like her because I can connect with her, she portrays herself to me as being down to earth.

When Mhall asked of us: "Ask yourself this, how in the world could she possibly do any worse than what we have now?"...Man that is so dead on the money right there. Looking at Obama makes Mhall want to puke...well looking at him (Obama, NOT Mhall, lol) does a lot worse than that for me and I don't care to go into any more detail than this, there's no reason to, nuff said.

Intelligence is a tad overrated. Give me work ethic, problem solving skills, a high moral savings account balance, and the ability to relate/converse with people any day.

Why is that whenever anybody questions Sarah Palin's qualifications, the first response is always, "Well, she's more qualified than Obama?" Keep in mind this response is coming from the same people who call President Obama a communist, a socialist, a closet Muslim, a fool, the worst president ever, and so on. I hope you all understand that, coming from someone who has expressed those opinions of Obama, the statement, "She's more qualified than Obama" sounds kinda like, "Yeah, we know she's not qualified, but we couldn't find anybody better."

IMO a lot more of her popularity comes from her looks than most Republicans care to admit.

Isn't that what everyone said about Barry? How can he do any worse than Bush? (remember the majority of the country bought into it) So why is it that now that when non Barry supporters want something totally different and a real "change" they get that question as if it actually matters what the reply is? Really that made me LOL!

Alot of negative comments about her intelligence has come straight from people in the McCain/Palin camp, as a matter of fact I'm not sure if I have heard any of them come to her defense. Maybe they have but I don't remember it.

Anyway blame the MSM all you want to for running with it but when it's coming straight from your own camp it doesn't look good.

She has a cool nickname "Sarah Barracuda" That alone right there puts her at the top of the Republican choices for 2012 imho.
