This is true, and I think Thyme2fish's post earlier in this thread was spot on. For the record, I've never thought of her as stupid; on the contrary, I think she's an intelligent woman, at least intelligent enough that it's not an issue. But I do think she's rather under-educated on U.S. history and world affairs.
I'd still like to know where this "you guys are so scared of her" crap comes from. It's pretty unlikely (IMO) that she's ever going to even RUN for office again, let alone win. What, are you saying we're scared of what she's going to say on Fox News? Ooooh I'm trembling in my bootsAs for "making her an issue," why don't you ask the guy who started this thread? The rest of us aren't "making her an issue," we're just responding with what we think of her.
Got to agree there. Even if I agree with what's being said, or think it's probably true, if it comes from an "anonymous source," I won't go quoting it to anybody. Show me PROOF.
DJD and MHall, thanks for proving my point. The only praise for Palin you can seem to come up with that doesn't involve comparing her to Obama is "I like her because I can connect with her, what I mean is she is very down to earth. I see her as a person I could approach and identify with and have a conversation with." OK I agree that's something I'd like to see in a President, and yes it would be a refreshing change from anyone who has occupied the White House previously, but is that really enough? Based on what you've posted previously about Obama, it seems to me (correct me if I'm wrong on this) that you must think there are tons of people out there who would make a better President. What is it about Sarah Palin that makes her stand out from that crowd?
