Gills, I really LIKE you and respect your opinions, but I really think you’re off base with Palin…..
I think Palin is the only thing the HELPED McCain……I’m a huge McCain supporter, but he was dead in the water until the 10 point bump he got due to selecting Palin. Maybe someone else would have also given him the bump but Palin certainly didn’t hurt him.
The economy tanking the month before the election had MORE to do with his numbers than anything.
Really……..she was the LEAST diva like of all of them. I didn’t see her wearing 1000 dollar shoes, or sporting a 1200 prada bag…….RIGHT DIVA……I don’t think so. She was the ONLY person within any campaign whose earning last year were on par with most upper/middle class AMERICANS……..Doubt she’s a diva……maybe now, but NOT THEN.
And the way the interviews were edited made her look like a fool. I blame this on her a little, and the HATEFUL media a LOT. She’s handling herself much better now, and will be a FORCE in the future……….probably not a political candidate again, but you never know.
I’m completely impressed with her……I don’t understand why women attack her so much. Jealousy….I’m not saying this is the case here…….BUT MAN the women are like PIT BULLS. I think she’s the only candidate who didn’t have a political agenda and a million lobbiests to appease.
I guess the 25 frivolous complaints had NOTHING to do with that eh……SHE quit not because she was greedy, although I do believe that did play a SERIOUS part. Rather, she quit because 25 complaints were costing her personally 500,000 dollars to defend against. And you know what…..as soon as she resigned and was able to secure some case to SQUASH those foolish complaints, they went away.
No, I don’t call her greedy, I actually think she was looking out for Alaska. Just how much do you think she would have accomplished had she still been governor. How many other frivolous complaints would have been filed.
I believe you are WAY, WAY off base here.
Later,
Geo

Just my own opinion.
