Perception trumps reality.
If a lie is repeated often enough, then people begin to believe that it's not a lie but in fact, it becomes the truth.
The perception of Palin being stupid, etc is repeated so often by the left, that people begin to believe what they are constantly exposed to in the media. When one cannot voice valid opposition reason to a debate, then the name calling: stupid, war-monger, etc are voiced.
McCain lost the election by not exposing the lack of experience in Obama. But McCain was afraid to attack Obama in any manner.
The perception of Obama being so wise and intelligent is one of the factors that got him elected. How smart is he? We'll never know as all his college transcripts are under lock and key. Do I think Obama is stupid? NO. But I don't fall for the perception of him being some super smart leader. In that same vein, I don't believe Palin is stupid.
If I was an Obama supporter, I'd love for Palin to be the Republican nominee. The perception of Palin just cannot be overcome. Give me Romney anytime over Palin.
2010 elections are just around the corner and I can't wait for the American people to take back their liberty and freedoms and throw all these corrupt politicians under the bus.
To quote Forrest Gump: That's all I have to say about that.
