Re: Sarah Palin on Fox News

    Perception trumps reality.

If a lie is repeated often enough, then people begin to believe that it's not a lie but in fact, it becomes the truth.

The perception of Palin being stupid, etc is repeated so often by the left, that people begin to believe what they are constantly exposed to in the media. When one cannot voice valid opposition reason to a debate, then the name calling: stupid, war-monger, etc are voiced.

McCain lost the election by not exposing the lack of experience in Obama. But McCain was afraid to attack Obama in any manner.

The perception of Obama being so wise and intelligent is one of the factors that got him elected. How smart is he? We'll never know as all his college transcripts are under lock and key. Do I think Obama is stupid? NO. But I don't fall for the perception of him being some super smart leader. In that same vein, I don't believe Palin is stupid.

If I was an Obama supporter, I'd love for Palin to be the Republican nominee. The perception of Palin just cannot be overcome. Give me Romney anytime over Palin.

2010 elections are just around the corner and I can't wait for the American people to take back their liberty and freedoms and throw all these corrupt politicians under the bus.

To quote Forrest Gump: That's all I have to say about that.

Re: Sarah Palin on Fox News

I never understood the dislike for Palin? What has she done that was so wrong?
    1) Experience? She has more than the POTUS.
    2) Tied to major political blunders or corruption? Nope but the POTUS has been nothing but crooked in his career.
    3) Good role model for women. But for some reason alot of women find reasons to not like her and yet like lying, cheating male opponents.

Oh well, we will see and like I said before the old ways of getting to the Whitehouse are gone. We are in an age of texting, emails, and mass electronic campaigning. Hitting the college kids hard , getting the image out their and start building a support base throughout the country. What better way then to become part of the most watched news media on the air???

Re: Sarah Palin on Fox News

Don't worry the GOP has a couple of good choices they are going to let loose when it's time. They are holding their cards very close to their chest so the liberal media and the Democratic mudslinging hinchmen can't start their smear campaign early. Smart move on the Pubs part, and it's killing the Dems that they can't find out what's going on.

As for Palin, maybe she's got me fooled but I really like her. Why is it that everybody has decided that she is dumb and can't lead and has no new ideas. Because Katie Curic and Keith Oberduff said so???????????? Why is she stupid? What did she do wrong that made her look so bad to the general public? We scoff at her and say no way she could be President, how do we know.

I tell you this I would bet EVERYTHING I OWN on this earth that there is no way she could do worse than that smooth talking Nimrod we have in office right now. The man was elected by young immature adults and Wino's that thought he was the next Mesiah when in fact is all smoke and mirrors with Zero substance and it is being proved every single day of his horrible tenure as POTUS. Just my two cents.

By the way Tyme, loved the post, it's spot on and I like Romney to. Alot of people don't because he's a Mormon, why should that matter??

Don and I posted at almost the exact same time, wasn't trying to be a Copy Cat Don, I guess great minds think alike brother, lol.

I don't know how true this is or not...it's probably true I guess. For me it kind of reminds me of all white men in this country being afraid to say anything in general about blacks, mexicans or whatever race or nationality a person is...because as soon as you do say something or even mention something against said races, you're labeled as a discriminator or prejudiced or whatever it is they want to pull out and use in order to defeat you, in order to get their way, etc...

I don't know if I can put this in words that don't look like I'm a hood wearing member of some backwards organization or not but it's not the fault of the blacks, mexicans or whatever race of people that try to bend the political world to best suit their own lives ....White america is at fault for allowing these things to happen themselves ......The news jumps all over whatever is said that could be in any way construed as racist and the race that does the loudest screaming for somebody's head is the white race ...The end result is that everybody is scared to voice his real opinion and we end up with a president that doesn't seem to care much about the ideas this country was built on.

I agree with your post but one exception...black america can say whatever they want about whoever they want. It's called White Guilt.

It really is...I have heard the POTUS talk about black america standing up and being responsible in one of his speeches and I was very happy to hear him address that. Only he can talk that talk....no white politician can.

Re: Sarah Palin on Fox News

For those of you who are fans of Palin, what do you see in her that makes you think she would make a good president? Serious question. After all the comments I heard from the right on here about how inexperienced Obama was and therefore not presidential material, how is Palin any more experienced?

I'm not sure she'd make a good President......but I do think she was way more qualified than Obama.

Since the day Obama was elected to the STATE senate, he's been running for President.

    * He NEVER wrote a bill in the STATE senate.
    * He NEVER sponsored a bill in the STATE senate.
    * He BARELY took a stand for anything in STATE senate.
    * He has NEVER held a SERIOUS job.

    * In the US Senate.........he NEVER sponsored a bill, or cosponsored a bill.
    * He voted PRESENT more times than Yea or Nea in BOTH Senates.

    So......he is CLEARLY not qualified.

    With Sarah Palin.........

    * She was Elected to the City Council 2 times.

    * She was Elected Mayor of a small community where she served for YEARS, requiring her to manage people, and budgets.

    * She was Elected Governor of the LARGEST state in our country. While governor she CLEANED HOUSE.

    * While working for the Alaska Oil and Gas Commission, she OUTED her fellow Republicans over ethics violations.

I've SAID it once, and I will say it again.......SHE's more like NORMAL Americans than anyone else that has ran for ANY office recently. For example:

During her first year in office, Palin kept a jar with the names of Wasilla residents on her desk. Once a week, she pulled a name from it and picked up the phone; she would ask: "How's the city doing?"

    Obama NO.........Palin.........YES.

    Plenty of Palin info here:

You know I didn't agree with McCains lack luster approach to battling Barry at all. One side was mean as a rattlesnake and McCain just seem to take it thinking the high road was gonna win when he had tons of ammo to launch! What were they thinking??? Maybe they were afraid of being called racists I don't know....
