For instance the fact about how the 2nd best team in SEC football (Florida)totally destroyed Cincinnati your undefeated big least champion.

Here are facts about every sport out there, you seem to think the Big East is better at everything huh?

Congrats on your commanding lead in Rifle,LaCrosse,Field Hockey,Fencing, and Men's Kickball
No.1, NOWHERE did I say the Big East was better than the $EC in every sport. Read the post again.

No.2, national titles are not reflective of the toughness of the conference. Not sure why that is so hard to understand. A great example, UK has seven of those ten basketball titles. Take one team out of the picture and kinda looks bad for the conference.

Using your logic, it is obvious that the ACC and Big Ten conferences were far better than the rest in hoops last year. After all, they each had a team in the title game. So I guess it would be:

#1 ACC
#2 Big Ten

Her is how things played out during last season's tournament and what proves your logic flawed, this is from last season's NCAA tourney:

The ACC

Wake Forest 0-1
Boston College 0-1
Florida St. 0-1
Clemson 0-1
Maryland 1-1
North Carolina 5-0

Total 8-6

Four teams lost in the first round, 1 team out in the second round, only two sweet 16 teams and then UNC to the Elite Eight and Final Four. Better than the Big East? NOT EVEN CLOSE. Btw, their other sweet 16 team was Duke who got beat by….Villanova of the Big East.

The Big Ten(11)

Ohio St. 0-1
Minnesota 0-1
Illinois 0-1
Michigan 1-1
Wisconsin 1-1
Purdue 2-1
Michigan St. 5-0

Total 9-6

Three teams out in the first round, two more bounced in the second round, two sweet 16 teams and the Michigan St. to the Elite Eight and Final Four. Better than the Big East? NOT EVEN CLOSE! Btw your only other Sweet 16 team was Purdue…..who was beat by UConn of the Big East.

The Big East

West Virginia 0-1
Marquette 1-1
Syracuse 2-1
Louisville 3-1
Pitt 3-1
Nova 4-1
UConn 4-1

Total 17-7

Only one team eliminated in the first round, only one other team out in the second round. Five Sweet 16 teams, a record four teams in the Elite Eight and two teams in the Final Four. That is right, half the field in the Elite Eight and Half the field in the Final Four were from the Big East Conference.

Do you understand why championships are not relevant when discussing a conference's strength?
