Still frozen over this morning. Saw a truck with boat turning around and leaving at the ramp this morning. I will post this evening if it thaws out today.
It didn't thaw out, but I saw a boat that had been fishing coming back down the lake. From what I could tell the ice is a lot thicker than it appears & will probably take a few days to thaw.
well, i think i've just been in an action movie...
drove up to my buddy's house with my durango, got out and saw flames coming out under the hood. called 911, grabbed the nearby garden hose and the fight was on.
long story short, my durango is toast(literally). my buddy and i fought it for about 5 minutes, couldn't get the hood open since the cable melted. by the time the fire department got there (which was quick, no lie), the whole front end of my truck was in flames.
about 15 feet high.
my truck is completely gone. (insert tear drop) she was a good one. 1999 dodge durango wildcat blue 4x4 with 137,000 miles. may she rest in piece(s).
now, i don't have anything to pull my boat with...
so, if you have an open seat to cedar or herrington sometime in the future, please let me know.

Dynatrak, sorry to hear about your truck. And of course now that it has happened to you, Cedar has pretty much thawed out. Still looks like there is some ice in the bays and close to the dam, but it is melting away quick now.
hey, thanks, hydra for the update. if anyone has an open seat sometime in the next couple weeks, let me know.
