FFA Tourney

I am in the hancock county ffa and we will be having a tourney at rough river sometime in the spring. We will prolly do 70% to winnings and 30% to support us. This will help lower club dues and help pay for peoples way on big trips that may not have the money to go. Were thinking $50 a boat but thats not final yet. I was just letting everybody know. It will be a team or single tourney.

One piece of advise I can give you to help your turn out is get out and get donations for the prize money. Then you can put on your flyers that the money is guaranteed. Then your group or organization can keep all the entry fees. Because the minute some anglers hear that all the money is not being paid out they look for something else to fish. But if the money is guaranteed they will show. Also it is easier to get donations if some of your guys just go around to local businesses and ask for donations for your group. And I mean ASK EVERYONE you will be surprised who will give . Banks, lawyers, local co-op, funeral homes ,gas stations resturants ect , you get the picture .

the guy who is setting it up is the person who runs one of the nolin and rough series. So i think he is going to see if flw will give us some prizes to give away to people who dont place.
