    I'm gonna have to agree with Shimano on this one....the crucials action seems to be a little heavier than advertised....to me a MH crucial is like a heavy rod for most brands....that being said it also depends on how heavy the junk is you'll be pulling fish out of...and a shorter rod might help you in a situation where youre under a tree or in a narrow space....just my 2 cents

    I use either Suffix Elite or Big Game in 20 Lb. test. I like something with a little shock value. I tried 20 Lb. BPS Excel & snapped in constantly.
