I agree with you...and I like Sanchez as the QB. He is new enough to still look like he is having the time of his life and to go back to Cali to win that game was pretty cool.

Ya know I never thought I would say this about a New York team, but I like this Jets Team.
Alot of good stories attached to players on this team. Also Kerry Rhodes had two monster plays on Defense in that game, former Louisville player thank you very much.
All the talking heads said yesterday they had no chance, the Chargers offense was just way to explosive. That Jets D stuffed them all day long and even got robbed on a few plays. That Leonhard 36 for the Jets got robbed on that hit and fumble recovery. He did it without his Hat to that got knocked off. He got redemption later though with a interception that the offense cashed in on. Fun game to watch and easy to get behind this team, I always liked the Ryan's to, I mean who didn't like Buddy Ryan......and Rex is just like him.

I like him to Don. His Dad works for the fire service and helped in Katrina. He loves and supports his son bigtime and was and is at most all of his games. You gotta like that. Very down to earth people it seems.
Maybe we could see a couple of records this year. The youngest starting QB in the Super Bowl (Sanchez will be about 7 months younger than Ben R. was), and the oldest Starting QB (Favre will have Elway surpassed by almost 2 years). That is how I would like to see it play out anyway - and it will be hard not to root for Brett.
I liked Buddy Ryan, too (I'm an Eagles fan) and I agree there are some cool background stories on the Jets side, but at this point, I just can't see them getting past Indy. Right now, the Super Bowl scenario I'm hoping to see is the two Hall of Fame'ers (Brett and Peyton) squaring off. Now THAT would be entertaining!
Great point about his Dad. More times than not you only see the athletes Mom around since daddy skipped or they don't want the sorry dude near them....Seems like I see that in Basketball alot.
As long as Panty Peyton doesn't win....That's who I'm for.
I'm rooting for a MN/NO v. Jets Super Bowl.
It would be difficult to pick against any of those teams.
As long as the Jets win in Indy I'll be a happy man. I don't dislike the Colts players, but the organization had a chance to be "the best team in history". Now if they win the super bowl it'll be "well they only had to beat a 5 and 6 seed and then the NFC rep to do it". It'll especially be bad if they face the VIkings and Favre has the 5 or 6 pick game he's due for. I just think it would be karma served on a silver platter if the Jets beat them when Indy could have beat them in week 16 and put them out of the playoffs all together.
With that said I see another 20 or 17 to 3 Colts victory.............
Jets need to keep running their ****, Colts smoke them. Jets can't even beat the Browns.
Colts 41 Jets 3
Dream on haters. Colts are going to the SuperBowl. While I myself dont like the thrown away undefeated season , I am still a Colts fan. No matter what.
