Did you add those grips or were they factory installed?

I carry a .45 because the survivor is the only one who gets to tell the story.

Actually, my Kimber doesn't get carried much because it's full size. I actually carry a Ruger .380 LCP or a .38 Special snubby most of the time...and while those may not carry the stopping power of a .45 they are never "too big" or "too bulky" to make them inconvenient to carry. A carry weapon can only save your butt if you've got it on your butt.

I hear ya. I actually carry a P32 more often then not. Its small enough to carry when I "cant" and I'd rather have something then nothing.

I took my CCDW class last August and there were three women in there that were at least in their late 50's. I want my wife to get hers but you must be a citizen in KY for a CCDW. Its crap that she can buy a gun but not get the permit.

When Splitshot and I took it there was a woman in there that I was amazed even passed. I hope she practiced more once she got the permit.

Yep...I couldn't believe she passed, but she did.

Her carry weapon might ought to be a shortie 12-gauge with improved cylinder choke...

Mark, my Grandmother died when she was 93 years old and was a "pistol packing Grandma" who carried a .32 cal. in her purse until she was 89. Her favorite thing to do was to sit on the porch with a .22 cal. rifle and pluck the squirrels out of her pecan trees. She once made a $10 bet with my dad that she could trim the hair in his nose with her rifle. Dad said he would take her up on the offer if she would forget about his nose and shoot a dime he stuck up on the gate post. She agreed, took aim, and the dime went flying into the air.......she had already had a couple of good stiff shots of Jack Daniels before she shot the dime. lol

Haha you could use it as an anchor if needed. Fired one at the range and I was amazed at how careful I had to be when I wrapped my hands around the handgrips....I put too much pressure on the Magazine and it would misfire. IMO... it has very little recoil compared to other pistols.
