You should be able to send a Private Message reply to whomever sent it to you. Tell them that you will start Capitalizing, etc. after they get Grumpy to start spelling and typing correctly.

Grumpy one of my hero’s Mark Twain said it takes a poor unimaginable brain that can’t figure out more than one way to spell a word.

Re: wow..i did not know fishing was this serious...

I feel you, man. There are two self-aggrandizing people on this board who somehow feel that, since I am a woman, they need to explain everything to me as though I am 3 years old and was born with mental retardation. For the benefit of THOSE TWO PEOPLE, I would like to define the word, "self-aggrandizing." It means the practice of exaggerating one's own importance, power, reputation, or influence for self-elevation or ego trip. It is a narcissistic trait.

One of them always says, "Bug, I don't think you understand what he is saying," and then he sets out to explain things in layers like peeling an onion, using the most simplistic terms. I've been wondering when he will check to see if my diaper needs changing. lol

If the other person disagrees with me on political, or any other issues, he inflates his ego and picks my reply to pieces line by line, and explains how he is right and everyone else on the board is wrong. Sometimes he feels the childish need for "brownie points" so he hits the little alert signal at the top of my post.

My own misspelled words embarrass me because I was the school, county, and state Spelling Bee champion when I was in high school. Today if I spend much time thinking about the correct spelling of a word, I end up spelling it incorrectly in spite of my best efforts. lol

If you are comfortable with your capitalization, punctuation, or misspelling; by all means, don't change just to appease your critic. Be sure and send him a reply with a less than polite "thank you" note.

Bug thanks for giving the definition to self-aggrandizing you sure saved me from looking it up. I like it and may start using it.

For a few days after the surgery, I prayed for something to knock my lights out but it didn't include a kinky diaper change. I'm allergic to most narcotics and haven't been able to take anything but Extra Strength Tylenol, which barely takes the edge off the pain.

I was just playing with ya. I learned the hard way that the hard stuff stops me up something terrible. I also learned what it was like to get an enema from a nurse....jeez that was tough to lay there and talk to her while she was plowing for the gold....

I knew you were teasing. When I worked in the hospital, we called enemas "Roto-Rooters." Some of them were very noisy when they drilled through the rocks and mud and there was no way for the patient to tone it down.

I have a funny story about what I did to a male patient who pinched me and made me an offer while I was giving his midnight medications. Roto Rooter cured his problem in about two minutes. lol
