Anyone fished or seen the water levels around the Canoe Kentucky portion of the creek? Got some free time this weekend and really got the itch to get out and was wondering if anyone else had tried Elkhorn yet this year. We did pretty good from the canoe in the fall but not sure how it would be now. Any help is appreciated.

That sounds good...hoping this upcoming rain isn't too substancial and doesnt muddy the water up before Friday. If the weather holds, the plan is to try it either Friday and/or Sunday.

drove by this morning and the water is up a little, not rolling though. its a little murky, but usually this time of year it clears up quick. good luck and be careful.

Here is a good link to save to your favorites. Shows how fast the creek is running and how high it is. I live about thrity minutes away from the creek and check this everytime before I head down. Has saved a ton of gas for me. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv?03289500
