This is a great post because it makes you think about your safety and I am afraid I'm guilty I fish alone a lot I have always told my wife if the phone ain't ringing you know its me.
I think if you are fishing a busy lake on the weekend you have a greater degree of safety than if you are on a secluded place with little or no boat traffic. I do try and not fish alone in the winter time because of safety.

I am also getting to the age that I am not as nimble or sure footed as I use to be and do not want to admit it. I need to swallow a little pride and change my habits thanks for the post I know my wife will like it.
