    Year's ago we used old skids we nailed scrap pieces to the side and center 2x4's leaving one nail just started that way we could stack them on my friends pontoon boat we would take 1/2 concrete blocks to tie in the center. The wood used in skids is hard woods thus they lasted for a long time we would pull the slats up drive in the second nail loop a couple ropes in the slats and lower over the side. We could put out around 10 in half aday of course I was a lot younger then LOL Shinerman(Don)

    Still got any of those around thse scattered around the lake..LOL.

    Back at home and safe. Will give you a call, once this weather/lake level settles down.

    Cut some pieces of PVC pipe about 3' long and put them in a bucket of concrete at different angles. Makes good cover for crappie and bass and you don't get hung up like you would using trees or brush.
