I think that the price on that particular series of boat is outrageous (FX series). However, Bassmaster mag stated that many dealers put in orders for them as soon as they test drove them.

However, I couldn't possibly justify spending that kind of money on a bass boat unless I fished professionally. I assume that professionals also receive "special pricing" as well. But too bad, Joe Shmoe and I still have to pay the full ticket to get one.

From the information given in the BASS article, it seems like a great boat, but in these hard times with the economy and people losing their jobs -- WHY WOULD YOU PUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT ON THE MARKET?
Its sad but the powers that be, figured out that if they give 15 or twenty years to pay they can get the monthlies down to were SOME Joe Shmoe's would sing on the bottom line, and some will JMO
