I'll NEVER own one -- heard too many bad things about them. Just my opinion, maybe they should paint them brown and call them a doodoo stick.
I'm stuck on Shimano (hence my screen name handle). I have owned some Loomis in the past, but the $50 replacement didn't seem fair on a "lifetime warranty". Go with the Shimano Crucials or Cumaras -- you won't be unsatisfied.

Don't know anything about them, don't know anyone who has one. For the money and warranty Shimano is making the best rod out there.
Here's a relatively new alternate:

Have heard good things about them, but don't own one myself.
Might be worth looking into.
They're also working on collegiate series rods. Here's some that are in the works:

I have two and wouldn't trade them for anything, especially when you buy a rod for a specific purpose as I have. I bought a drop shot rod spinning model for shakey heads and have caught fish up to 7lbs (I have pictures and people to back it up), It is still one of my go to set ups. I have an Extra Heavy for Jigs and C-Rigs and it has all the backbone you want and is feather light. I have rods from just about everybody (major) and do not buy rods for color schemes but if you fish a C-rig right (Slow, Low and Slow) it does stand out against the water as a backdrop (I figured this out long after buying them). At the time I purchased these two rods it was between the Cumara and Carrot Stix, and price was a small factor seeing there was a hundred dollar difference each...... I feel today I did not go wrong and still believe they are good rods.
I respect Boyd Duckett for standing up for himself if what was going on was really going on, but I did find it funny his new line of rods is out with a prostaff signed over the last month sponsored by him kind of coincides. I'm not judge-mental and I feel if YOU think it's worth it - then quite possibly it is.... JMHO
I Love Mine....
QUOTE=ky.jonboatfisher;398047]Who here likes Carrot Stix? Ive heard great things about them and i was just wondering who here has them or has used them and if you like them.
Please let me know.[/QUOTE]
This is coming from someone that owns 5 carrot stix and 2 cumara rods.
i love them both, i can lay my cumara down and pick up my carrot stix and cant tell the difference, To me the only difference I feel was in my wallet most of the guys on here talk sh!t about a rod that they have never owned or have never used,To be 100% honest with you i think the carrot stix are a little more sensitive than the cumara, the cumara is NOT worth the price difference!
i checked this out looks pretty cool and i like the go green concept with 10%off.Here's a relatively new alternate:

Yep, double that for me.I'll NEVER own one -- heard too many bad things about them. Just my opinion, maybe they should paint them brown and call them a doodoo stick.
