Depending on what kind of hook set you use you have to be careful.. They are very light and sensitive but I have seen them returned at bass pro on numerous occasions for breaking on hook sets.. The old ones were very good rods and then e21 started selling a cheaper version that is half as good as the original ones.. One of my buddies that fishes at IU uses them and he loves them but he said he is getting tired of having to return them and get a new one...
So IMO they are good rods but don't handle a hard hook set well..
I couldn't stand looking at the Tennessee Orange all day. I also dislike the split grip handles on rods today. Bad thing is their all going to them.
I'll NEVER own one -- heard too many bad things about them. Just my opinion, maybe they should paint them brown and call them a doodoo stick.
I'm stuck on Shimano (hence my screen name handle). I have owned some Loomis in the past, but the $50 replacement didn't seem fair on a "lifetime warranty". Go with the Shimano Crucials or Cumaras -- you won't be unsatisfied.
i have herd bad things about them to. i was going to get one but i got a falcon lowrider and love it and i got a kistler and it is a awsome rod to. my next rod will be one of those two. both good rods.
Don't know anything about them, don't know anyone who has one. For the money and warranty Shimano is making the best rod out there.
Yep, double that for me.I'll NEVER own one -- heard too many bad things about them. Just my opinion, maybe they should paint them brown and call them a doodoo stick.
