Heard of Riggs Lake in Louisville

Tuckers lake was not far from Riggs lake and it was a swimming lake with a small zoo, at night a lions roar carries a long way. Back then it was a rural area and very quiet.

The old Riggs Pay Lake is still owned by the Riggs'.It is not open to the public.The people sneaking in to fish wasn't near as bad as the people sneaking in to tear up things.This has caused them to really limit who gets in. Pretty much family only.
P.S I've heard stories the lion got loose one time!

Riggs lake is still owned by the Riggs family. NO TRESPASSING! There has been some instances of vandalism and no one is permitted to be within the property line without permission.

I grew up just down the road from the Crossing Golf Course (used to be L & N Golf Club). That place had three lakes on it but as a youngster I never rode my bike there, snuck on and fished.
