Tim we use to have a guy hunt with us that bow hunted with a long bow. His brother made them and was quite good at it. He loved the challenge and did take deer with that bow. He is a crime scene and misc photographer for LMPD and the Jefferson county police force. Last name was Keller, I think of him when you talk about the long bow.
LOL Mark, give me my longbow, my fly rods, some beer and Red Man and I am a happy camper. Btw, by spring turkey season I intend to have a flintlock shotgun. I intend to try and take my two turkeys, old school. One with the flintlock and one with my longbow.
