Just got in from letting Maxx out and no doubt about it Brrrrr!!
As I stood there watching him peeing and sniffing I thought even though I'm cold it ain't nothing compared to some of the long nights in Germany pulling Motor Pool Guard Duty.
I still have never experienced that kind of cold!! I guess it's always worse when someone makes you stand in snow and freezing temps as opposed to you doing it on your own.

I agree Don, there is nothing colder than HAVING TO BE OUT IN THE COLD, even when you are dressed for it. Fort Devens, Mass., winter of 1956-57, it was so cold for so long that Boston Bay froze over in January. As a PVT, I pulled several tours of Guard Duty and Fireman duty when it was below O. Funny thing was, those old wooden barracks, without any real insulation were warm as toast AS LONG AS THE FIREMAN KEPT FEEDING COAL INTO THOSE FURNANCES.

BTW, it now reads MINUS ONE here.
