Guys, I am wound pretty tight and with good reason. With everything that I go thru on a daily basis the last thing I need is for people to question my integrity as a fisherman. I am no pro nor will I ever be one and there are very few things that I am pretty good at on this planet but catching Smallmouth out of Dale Hollow Lake in the winter is one of them. Not saying that to brag but it is just a fact of life. I have had to defend my "pussy fishing" "wussy fishing" "sissy fishing" on other boards A BUNCH and to a degree on this board as well. I have caught EXACTLY 49 Smallmouth over 5lbs out of Dale Hollow and that is a number that I don't need to exagerate to make myself sound better than I am, but if anyone wants to follow all my post in the past 6 years they will clearly see the number go up and up. There has been 9 different guys in my boat that have caught a Smallie over 5lbs as well besides those that I have caught. All 9 of these it was their first Smallie over 5 and for the rest of their lives and when they tell their kids about it, it will always include me in the story. When people are creating log on ids for the sole purpose to bash others that is too much. To tell you how easy it is, I created a second log on id named Netboy Extraordinaire the same day I quit posting using an email address I started with Yahoo just to see how easy it is. Never posted with it but was going to use it to bash back but thought better of it. The day I quit posting and made my post, my log on id Elnutsmalljaws quit working, go figure. It took Peter to reset the password for me to get back on and get my PM's. Never did find out why that same day my account quits working, go figure. Then to throw in the bogus Craigslist ads that Yahoo started and those phone calls using my name and phone number that I posted on the Winter Fishing Get Together post, to help others get in touch with me, was the iciining on the cake. I let a lot of things roll off my back, especially in the past 4 years because they are not very important in the big scheme of life but just can't let someone questioning my integrity. As far as pictures go, I have plenty, but I don't take pictures because the majority of my fish are caught in the first couple hours of daylight and a lot are back to back cast. I dont spend time getting in position, getting the camera, then taking the picture. For example this winter alone there has been a 6-2 and a 5-0 on back to back cast caught by me, a 5-4 and a 5-7 caught on back to back cast by me and Vaun then a 6-11 came on the same spot within a half hour later by me. 4-7 and 4-8 on back to back cast by me on another spot. Too many big fish are caught on my top 4 spots the first couple of hours of the morning. I have found the 6 mother load of spots at Dale Hollow and they continue to give up big fish day after day. Of the 49 that I have caught probably 30 have came off these 4 spots alone and of the 9 other guys that caught theirs I believe 7 of them caught theirs off these top 4 spots. too good of fishing to stop and take a picture. but I don't need to defend myself to those that just want to get on here and bash. Got tired of it and stopped posting and only posted what I did to say thanks to those that posted about the article and to answer a few questions. thanks to all that support me and I hope those that bash me are even Greener with Envy than before.
I would just like to see one that big.
