were you able to watch the game, if so, did cousins have a blue sleeve on his right arm. the guy that is in the video, the same video i was refering to was. i looked back to the louisville video showing cousins and his so called elbow and he wasnt wearing it then. i cant say it didnt happen, but from what evidence that has been shown, you cant say it did. not looking to argue, just stating what i think.
The story says someone in a blue shirt wisked Cousins away quickly.
Looks like there are 3 or 4 eye witnesses...................a couple sworn statements is all it would take for Cousins to be done.
I don't know how I feel about this.........Maybe Cousins did PUNCH him but was defending himself. Maybe he was HONKED off, and being a THUG. I think the latter, but who knows.
Later,
Geo
I looked and couldn't see anything the video was to grainy. If he did anything I would think it would be dismissed as the fans broke the rules by storming the court and even though these guys are big athletic guys they have to be able to react to percieved threats.
This guy claims he ran head first into Cousins because he was bent over so I'm thinking it was a shot in the "frank and beans". I don't know but It seems like this kid is searching for a platform...time will tell because if anything did happen the proof will come out.
USC has a problem controlling their fans thats why they were fined 25K for this latest stunt. The first time they were fined 5k and they had beat 3rd ranked Kentucky. The rules are there to protect the fans, players, coaches and anyone else on the floor.
I guess I feel that now you have a kid who admitted he was breaking the rules and slipping by security to storm the court so fine or discipline him and anyone else they can identify because by him breaking the rules he could have got hurt or hurt a player and cost the school 25K.
Can you imagine a bunch of fans who may hate a player jumping the player and hurting him? Possibly ruining his career? Noone can stop it if they can't enforce the rules already in place.
I think this is here-say?? I've seen nothing of this on any of the sports communication services that I frequent. Now, I want to say I would not put it past this kid for a minute, because he has one of the shortest fuses college ball has had in a long time. Calipari has to watch him like a hawk. When he gets fouled hard he talks trash all the way to the line to shoot free throws. Patterson is the only reason he hasn't been in a scrap yet, Pattrick keeps him reeled in pretty good.
If this was real ESPN would be on this like white on Rice, they love this kinda stuff.
Same here Mark...Haven't seen or heard anything concrete...
I heard about it first thing yesterday morning after the game, but haven't seen anything substantiated.
I'd say this is just somebody's 15 mins. of fame or they are trying to hurt KY.
Well....my take in it is...If Cousins is the thug everyone says he is, he would've clobbered him with 2 punches...He would get his money's worth and the person in question would have visible marks to his face...Cousins is big and tall and those long arms....LORD! It would hurt.
He goes a solid 280 also. If faced with it and Lord knows I'm glad I'm not I would go Nad hunting, it's about the only chance a normal sized fellar would have.Well....my take in it is...If Cousins is the thug everyone says he is, he would've clobbered him with 2 punches...He would get his money's worth and the person in question would have visible marks to his face...Cousins is big and tall and those long arms....LORD! I think this is alot of BS, I can't find anything but blogger here say bull on it. I think this is a whole lot about nothing.
The story is growing some legs. I don't know what happened, but is looking more and more like some type of incident took place.
I still say that IF something took place UK or Cousins should sue the pants off of that University for allowing it to happen. I bet they would stop that if the University who is supposed to follow the SEC rule gets more than a 25K fine. Heck make it $500k and this is for all schools who can't control their fans.
It's just not right to have rabid fans in the face of a team that just lost. They know it that's why the weak rule is there. Just make it a serious rule infraction and watch this stuff go away. Heck pull the win from their record.
It's like any other sport...Nascar, NBA, NFL, MLB if fans are not held back more people would get hurt.
If it really had merit, Jerry Tipton would be on it like a bum on a bologna sandwich. That video shows nothing. I read one article that said Cousins threw 2 uppercuts...LOL!!He'd have to be laying down to do that.
We are really laughing it up here at work...
