I love my MH for jig fishing. Hope you got a casting rod though, the sensitivity is so much better with casting rods. Wish I could afford a few more like it.

I wasn't comparing apples to apples with the IMX rod........the Mossyback and the Bronzeback were both cheaper........and the Cumara 7'2 was 239.....I think.
I spent 253.00 total..........only the rod and a diet coke.

Looking forward to your post about those rods - I'm thinking about a new C-Rig pole for this year - I've held the Cumara in my hand at BPS - just wondering?
Anyone got any comments about the new BPS Carbonlite rods?
They (the CarbonLite) seem to be priced fairly competitively. I'm going to Clarksville on Sunday (weather permitting). I would like to take a look at one, even though I will never purchase one. I'll let you know what I think.
As far as the Cumara C-Rig Rod, I use it for football jigs as well when dragging. Sensitivity is unlike any rod I have ever used. Well worth the investment in my opinion. Great product with a great warranty.

$229 YIKES. Better not fish with me. I am the kind of guy that is just one(mis) step from turning it into a 5 footer. Hope you like it.
I have been watching for a deal on a Cumara. I just bought a couple of Shimano Crucial Rods that I look forward to using this summer; definitely an upgrade for me. I may treat myself to a Cumara next year unless I get really lucky and invest in a G.Loomis. I heard Cumara's are great; all the reviews are positive. I think you will like it.
Cumara(7-2 MED.HEV.FAST) is the best rod for deep fishing that I have used, even the Mossybacks.I have (3) of them for Rig,Football Jigs,Big Worms.Buy one for these three applications and you will like it.You will be like![]()
Yea, but making that 5 footer doesn't COST you a penny.....you take it back and they give you a new one............FOR LIFE.
THAT is why I buy good equipment. I broke a G. Loomis in Canada......Packed out both broken parts, and got a new on in a week from the factory.
Yea, you pay a SERIOUS amount up front, but it is worth the warranty.
On the flip side, not all warranties are the same. My AllStars which also carry a lifetime warranty are TERRIBLE. I've never been able to get one replaced. In one case, I sent back a 6'10" spinnerbait II rod, and instead of sending a new rod, the replaced the tip, even though it was 8 inches SHORT. That is hardly the warranty I wanted..........and that rod was a 120.00 rod.

Thats horrible service on that allstar. The bad thing about the ccost of the cumaras is your going to be buying more of them because theyre awsome. My cumara and reel I have on it cost $100 more than the boat I fish fromYea, but making that 5 footer doesn't COST you a penny.....you take it back and they give you a new one............FOR LIFE.

I recently bought the Carbonlite/Revo S combo. I havent used it yet but it seems to be well built and very well balanced with the Revo. It is definitely light like they claim it is and as soon as I get to test it out on the water I'll post my thoughts.
Thanks! They felt pretty good - not in the same class as the GLX or Cumara but not bad considering the cost - wondered how they fished . . .
