    Re: Sunglasses

Best advice I can give you is buy a good pair. My choice is Oakley's. Yes your going to pay around 150-180 for them but I've had the same pair for 6 years now. All the other cheap pairs I had broke at some time or another. Pay a little more now and you'll be happier in the long run. Oakley Straight Jackets are awesome.

    Re: Sunglasses

I would go with Costa Del Mar's. You will be amazed at the difference in a higher quality lens.

Pretty much what Shimano4life said about color. I have an amber color I wear 90% of the time. However in direct, bright sunlight I will change to my mirror blue ones. My next pair will be green mirror for bright light. I had a pair of revo's years ago wite a green mirror lense, and I havent had any since then that were as good in bright light.

    Re: Sunglasses

Ive never been the kind of person to drop some serious coin on something like a pair of sunglasses. Then I tried a pair of Costas a buddy had. Ive bought two pairs since then and let me tell you, there is a BIG difference. I am ROUGH on my equipment and my Costas are the most scratch resistent lens Ive ever seen. Of course the vision is awesome with them as well. I prefer the vermillion color in stained water and most freswater applications. Its a bit fruity looking but the contrast is unbelievable. I even wear them driving. Go with Costas or other quality glasses and youll be happy.

Solar Bats in the mossyback lense are hard to beat. They are a good middle brand but the Berkleys at walmart wouldn't be a waste of money.

Same thoughts as others cheap glasses work and are sweet till you get a good pair. I have Solar bats the more expensive ones and I like them over Costa or Oakley. I dont think the 60-80.00 ones are better than Costa but their higher end ones are. I have both and preffer the Solar Bats mostly because of fit though view is the same.

    Re: Sunglasses

I would wear several pairs @ the store before I buy to make sure they are comfortable for all day. Costas I think are worth the money but not as comfortable as natives.

Never had a pair as comfortable as the Natives. There were some on Steepandcheap.com today. Bought some Costa's on there the other day for $49. That site can be addicting.

    Re: Sunglasses

Well I had Costas for couple years and mad the switch to Oakleys last year. Awesome move they have interchangeable lenses for different light conditions so you don't have to buy a lot of frames. I have two sets of oakleys with different frames but two other pair of lenses to go with them. As a matter of fact I have two pair of Costas I have been thinking of putting on community tackle box soon. One with blue lenses and other with green.
Blue lense with black frame ex-11 EX-Frame
Green lense are with Shark frame. Anyone interested?

    Re: Sunglasses

I highly reccommend some Wiley X Sunglasses ... I got lucky and got mine with the Abu Garcia deal they had a while back. If I was buying new sunglasses today I would seriously take a look at the Wiley X, some can get a little pricey

    Re: Sunglasses

I have some Costas with the 580 lens. Love them, but if I could keep them from fogging up I'd be that much happier. I've read about dipping them in some water with dish liquid in it so I will try that next time out. IF you are going with Costas, don't buy retail. Find some on Ebay.
