I like Vicious, especially since I got two 800 yd spools for $18.00 each on eBay

I got some for free from a sponsored guy. To be honest its the strangest flouro Ive used. Its super strong, but super stiff, doesnt seem to sink right and isnt invisible. The 17lb reminded me of 25lb big game clear. Not trying to be disagreeable, but its different than other lines Ive used. The line I used I got early last year before Id heard of it, was thinking it might be different now. Is yours like this?

P-LINE 100% flourocarbon- a little exspensive, but for tourney fishing and when money is on the line , this stuff is great!

I agree with comment on Vanish; it is crap. I did not like P-Line either. I have not tried Viscious; but it sounds like the same issue I had with P-Line; too stiff.

one thing to do that helps with line stiffness and memory is use some kvd line and lure conditioner. spray some on a rag and run the line through wile respooling your reel. this helps a lot and keeps it from jumping of the reel. and dont over spool and put the line on the reel counter clockwise.

10lb test and under you can't beat Seaguar InxizX
Over 10# I like Berkley 100% seems to have better feel in the heavier # tests

Been using Seagar, great stuff. Tried some Viscous last weekend and had good results. Will probably go with Viscous for now on because it seemed to be equall to Seagar and cost less.

My experience with Viscous line..and Vanish line hasn't been so good; I've only used 8 pound Floro in both...had both break more than twice when playing some nice smallies in to the boat. It seems that it isn't very abrasive resistant...for me. I've been using 100% P-line floro...it hasn't let me down in three years and going strong!

Sunline sniper if you can find it is with out a doubt the best I've used( very expensive but good). P-line #2 Seaguar invisex #3 if you don't mind stretch. Bass pro is ok pretty big for its lb size. Worst I've ever used was Viscious. That stuff come off the spool rough and does not get any better. Frays easy and no knot strength.

The best way to see for yourself how great the Seaguar brands are without buying them is to compare them to competitor spools while you're in the store. The process they use to spool the line eliminates overlapping strands and therefore eliminates line crimp. I always used BPS fluoro but noticed how inconsistant line diameter was due to the crimping. I swithed to Seaguar Invisx late last year for this reason and many others. The line is incredibly smooth and is without a doubt much higher in quality and quality assurance than any other brand in my opinion. The Invisx is propbably the most popular right now, but the new Abrasx is supposed to have more abrasion resistance for the same price but is a little stiffer.

Go with P-Line 100% fluoro, its all around the best especially for jigs and worms and stuff. Also the Seaguar makes good stuff as well, I seem to like it more for cranking and on a spinning reel.
