I agree the oficials did a horrible jod................
on the other hand Louisville has NO LEADERSHIP !!!!! if they do i must be blind cause i dont see it. I have been a life long fanm of UofL but i gettin sick of it. Sosa has made one memorable play in four years and Samuels IMO is terrile and reminds me of Marvin Stone , too big to be that weak and gentle. I dont know what happened to Smith , doesnt seem to be as good as he once was. My BIGGEST complaint is PITINO, why doesnt he go after star players ?? where is are go to guy , he should still be trying to recruit these players and I really dont think he does. is his personal screw ups affecting him that bad ??? he doesnt have the fire he used to and thats a cold hard fact. Im completely P/O and im headed to the bar to watch the UK game. Sad isnt it. :-( Its NIT bound for sure, IMO they shoundnt even be there, theyll get put out in the first or second round of that. Im going to vent AND LET OFF SOME MORE STEAM !!!!
I agree 100% with everything that has been said. The bad part is Louisville is up by 11 with 3-4 minutes left and can't hang on. It should not have been that close to let the refs decide the out come. The same thing can be said for the Pitt Game a Villinova games. If Mike Marria is a great 3 point shooter than I can out fish Skeet Reese. He almost air balled a free throw.
The worst part is there is nothing coming in next year. It will be a lot worse this same time next year.
I agree about the blown calls but cmon CARDS you were down 13-0 came back with a 15pt lead and blow it not all officiating but it helped on last couple plays but point is it should never have gotten that close in the first place. They almost had me chanting Karen Seipher along with them I was so pissed
I'm glad I don't care about sports...cause if I did my blood pressure would have been sky high today in regards to this Louisville game.
They never had a 15 point lead but did have a 12. All good points here, they put themselves in these positions.
I hate to say it but it might be time for Pitino to go. I'm afraid he's run his course here at Louisville and if I judged him right now I think he's slightly underachieved. 2012 is suppose to be a great recruit class but Ryan is right there isn't squat coming next year.
Samuels is the softest big man in college ball. He plays like a Balarena most of the time. A good gust of wind knocks him over.
Sosa is just Sosa, he will never get it. If he played college ball for 20 years if would still be a decent but never a great player. NO basketball IQ.
Jerry Smith is without a doubt the sorriest senoir to ever wear a Louisville basketball uniform. He stinks at every phase of the game right now. I think he needs a serious drug test or something because I've never witnessed a bigger fall off in a player in my life. His Freshman year was much better than this year and that doesn't make sense to me??
I'd like to see Ricky step aside and let Williard have a shot. With as much success as he had at Holy Cross with less talented players surely he could win some more games at Louisville. Then Rick could ride off into the sunset pinching tails and chasing skirts, that seems to be his real claim to fame.
If Louisville didn't have a good run last year I would agree. I think he will be gone in a year or two any way. I think the pressure has gotten to him. His mind is on the trial date and I would think that things are all that good at home.
