I've tried it and it does not glow. You can try the stren glacier blue braid it shows up well under black light. But i would use a floro leader about 2 foot long.

Thanks for the reply. And sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but why would you use a fluoro leader? I've always used strictly mono so all this is quite new to me.
Stren MicroFuse Fluorescent Glacier Blue will glow under a blacklight. I've used it and it shows up very well under a blacklight.
If you don't use a leader and you are in clear water, the line will literally glow underwater to a certain depth.

Oh. Well that makes sense...Did you like the Stren? I've heard that it wasnt that managable. In other words, would you recommend getting it?
I WOULD recommend it. I didn't have much trouble at all with it in terms of manageability.
The only thing that discourages me from using braid at night is the lack of sight causes me to get hung up more and more -- and we all know how tough braid is. When you get hung up, you either have to cut your line or haul the sunken Toyota truck that you got hung up in to the boat.![]()
I use the Stren braid and like it, to me its as easy to use as any other braid, and i am not a fan of braid...lol
