With the recent weather and water conditions being what they were, decided to take a drive over to the Dam and see what it would have been like IF ONE TRIED TO FISH TODAY . That is, after clearing a path through the snow and the driveway.

Includded are links to a couple of photo's which show what I found.

Good news, there would have been no waiting in line to launch. Halcombs Ramp and parking lot were deserted and not a sigh of tire track. But going down that snow covered ramp could have been a bit unnerving . And the dock I always tie up to while parking the truck....not usable....setting way out it lake all by it's lonesome! In the photo, it's that white spot out in from of the ramp. Lake is 17 feet above target level of 680 feet.

Lake water is still colored with limited visibility (~ 2 feet)

Drove across the dam and took a look at the river. Way up 563 feet,...up in the trees and running hard at 23,270 cubic feet/second.
