    Celtic Woman

Just watched part of a show on one of the PBS stations starring 4 Irish female singers and a drop dead lovely fiddler (violinist?). Singing that will move the hardest bitten bakstrad to tears, a huge ensemble, and a great show. Celtic Woman Songs of the Heart I think was the name of the show, and they said it's coming to Louisville April 3rd. I have no other details, but I may take my wife and daughter up there if I can afford to buy ticks.

OMG.......................Jim I will now be collecting your man card, you are no longer fit to carry the card. My wife made me watch about 10 minutes of that and I was about to loose it.

I have always been a fan of Celtic Women.
We went and saw them in Lexington last year it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. I will be going back this year. It is relaxing to listen too, and easy on the eyes.

Looks like they have some other fans too. I fell in love with that fiddler for a bit, but I'm mostly over it now.

Think that's bad you should see me dance with my daughter (the princess) in my prince outfit Mark. Just let me know where to turn in the the card.

BTW, I looked at the ticket prices and the cheapest ones were 80 something greenbacks apiece. They ranged up into the hundreds! That art stuff ain't cheap.

Don't mess with his Man Card! He likes concerts that are not Rap, Hip-Hop, or "I've got tears in my ears from lying on my back, cryin' over you-ooo-ooo-hoo."

What part of it were you about to lose from watching such beautiful young women? Jim, collect his Man Card. lol

Don't know Bug, ole Mark'd give you the shirt off his back, but he ain't giving up that man card. He won't admit it, but he enjoyed the "10 minutes" his wife made him watch.

I'm way more comfortable fishing with the guys eating canned sardines/crackers chased down with Miller Lite, but one of the things that makes life such a great ride is that same guy getting cleaned up and taking his girls to a play every now and then.

Jim my first impression would be if a harry chinned boy watched that whole show and liked it, it would be because he was a shallow creature and was enjoying the scenery more than the show and music, Whew that was a long sentence, lol. The other reason would be that he might be light in the loafers and get's pedicures once a week and lay's in tanning beds. Now since I'm pretty sure you aren't the second one, you can keep your man card but you are now on probation and are being watched by the man police.

That fiddle player was hotter than a two dollar pistol I must agree. It's a little to Artsey Fartsey for me, but to each his own, I had no idea Jim you were so refined, except my apologies, lol.

I'll never forget the first time my wife made me go to a play in Louisville. After I quit griping and gave it a chance I must admit I actually liked it and found it entertaining.

    Just funning with ya DH.

I'll walk the line during the probation period...should be pretty easy since the word refined doesn't work it's way into to many sentences with my name in them.

There was one upbeat number when that fiddler was dancing and twirling around the stage never missing a note. I got light headed and like to passed out. Tore me completely up.

Take your wife to the local high school performances of plays if you have them. Here in BG they do plays at the Capitol Arts theater, and the kids are fun to watch. We had a kid a couple of years ago playing Rev Tevya in "Fiddler on the Roof" who was outstanding. He did "If I were a Rich man" better than that foreign dude in the original version.

Of course after any play or activity like that I immediately go fishing and do without a bath or shave for a couple of days till I'm back to my old self again.

I have seen the show and, imo, that is some of the purest voices I have ever heard. They hit every note to perfection and it is real music from beginning to end.
