I'm interested. Living in Kenton county again now so if anyone wants to car pool...
Excellent idea Tim...although, the CR is soooo unpredictable, and with spring rain....I'm predicting raging waters! I wish there was some trout waters that would be more predictable that time of year? A great little trout water that time of year, is Trammel Creek in Allen County. Pretty stream with some great riffles and holes. Caught a 27" brown out of there two years ago! But don't get too excited, they usually are planters...bows 10-14" and browns 8-12". Really fun though. Great tactical stream. Also has some nice smallies in the lower sections. Just a thought. I think a get together is an awesome idea! Just want to make sure that we can get some fly fishing in.
Anybody else have any ideas on some predictable trout waters for May or June?
Thanks Tim.

Rock Creek comes to mind, even though the only time I have ever been there what the Forest Rangers told us was an F-4 tornado nearly killed us all! Still want to go back, only got to make two casts before the baseball sized hail started. Whew, talk about unpredictable Spring weather!
I would definitely be interested in Rock Creek. I have only fished it once so that would be good. Plus there is a nice campground on the creek.
Never heard of Rock Creek, but sounds interesting. How's the fishing there?

Rich, it is by far Kentucky's best small stream. It is located in the Big South Fork National Recreation Area on the Kentucky/Tennessee border. It is a good quality and the stream forms on the TN side and I have hear/read that there are wild trout on the TN side in Pickett State Park. Very pretty country there as well.

Yes it is.
Another place we could consider, if we want to do a smallie trip instead of trout, would be Elkrhonr Creek. There is a campground available and it is centrally located.
