I get a package from NRDC Natural Resources Defense Council that it titled with an attack against Sarah Palin. As I read through this hogwash they blame oil companies, Hunters, Bush and Palin for the Polar Bears plight.
Here are some of the statements.... the last gasp of a Polar Bear as it drowns...the muffled cries of newborn cubs...the exhaustion of a mother polar bear and her young as the succumb to starvation. The Polar Bear could die off in 2050 unless I donate money right now! Polar ice will be gone by 2040 according to scientists... But wait theres more!! For a limited time with a contribution of $10 or more I'll receive a "save the polar bear" shopping bag!!

Yada yada yada blah blah blah...good thing they didn't send a self addressed envelope or I would have sent a pic of a hunter with a skinned bear back to them at their cost.

Yea and people that live up that way say it's a load of bull to. Polar bears are actually a nuisance in some areas now do to overpopulation.

I don't bother to ask them to remove me from their mailing list, I just cram everything into their return envelope and try to help out our Postal System.

Polar bear attacks occur most often at sites of human habitation, such as hunting camps, weather stations, and towns. Compared to other bears, polar bears are more willing to consider humans as prey. Consequently, the person attacked is usually killed unless the polar bear is killed first.
