    Lowrance LCX15-MT Question

I purchased this unit at a benefit, and no want to install it on a new boat. I didn't know much about this unit other tha nit provided GPS and Sonar. My problem or question is after much research I am very unclear as to what I would need to purchase to see Minnesota lakes and Lake of the Woods Canada (depth, structure, nagigation routes(?) Seem as if this particular model (Mono not color) does not have any options for me. Can someone in the most simple of terms tell me what if anything can I do to get this information? In steps would be great! I'd apprecaite it! I'm am extremely furstrated!! Thnaks for taking the time!

    Re: Lowrance LCX15-MT Question

Go to Lowrance's website and search for "Mapcreate Custom Mapping."You can put all the map info you need on memory card and insert in unit.My units had disk in box, with directions on how to load custom maps of the USA and some other waters.Don't know about Canada.Call their tech guys, usually get good info from them.Sometimes a little slow geting to talk to real person, but worth the time.
