    Dale: good size great #'s

fished about every morning this week w/livebait, high water lake is way up but it has these fish turned on big time lots of color, lots of trash an lots of fish being caught, I had one over this morning @ 5.4, another 5 short an several 4's, the guides on this end are making up for a slow start with big #'s...
fished around trooper isl. drifting an some bottom fishing . I never moved out of a 100 yard stretch this AM perhaps dozen or more fish by 10AM.

we do it one of two ways ... bottom fish u may use any size weight with a carolina style rig using egg sinker to a split shot. put the hook through the nose, or below the dorsel fin boat is stationary and throw it out, wait for runs, or you can drift the bait with zero weight to heavy split shot. usually with certain target areas of stretches of bank. each part weather it be the weight u use or the zero weight will really dictate a lot of your sucess as much as line size or hook size, natural bait to the area which most use shad when they can
