That's close and in the area, but don't believe that's it. Barkley Dam Motel is on Stringtown Rd, but just off I24. The motel I am remembering is on Stringtown Road, but just of hwy 62 (641). There is also a small grocery near there (on hwy 62) that opens EARLY in the AM where you can get a hot breakfast. But again, I don't remember the name of it either?
