Osborn ramp - just down the hill from the Pines is one of my favorites - good central location
nearly any structure you could want - shallow to deep - Not too far to run further up in the river - main lake not too far.

I like the walls ramps area of the river I also like the painter creak area. Usually in the fall when I make it down to fish

Don't know how far your willing to travel, but we take a trip to TN to Reelfoot lake a couple times a year. The crappie and bluegill fishing is excellent, and the lake is one of a kind. Been going for about 10 years and can't wait to go back each time. The bass fishing is there, but its not great. Catfishing is good as well, there is a couple camp ground around the lake, and you can stay down there pretty cheap. Bout a 5 hour drive from you. Your kids would love it. LOTS of stumps, gotta take it slow.
