I recently started using clear rubbermaid type boxes, about the size of a shoebox, but a little wider from wal-mart. The boxes only cost a couple bucks but theyre perfect for me. One box with worms, another with craws, another with trailers, and one with flukes and senkos. All organized by color. This way I know exactly what I have and dont buy more of what I dont need and know when I need to buy more. I dont carry them, I just grab a pack or two of whatever Im planning on using that day. I can fit 25 packs or so in each box.

i do the same as AndyG does. i keep all my plastics in boxes the clear ones at walmart. i seperate from all strait tail worms, curly tail worms, crawdads, lizards, trailers, flukes and slug-go's. and put them in colors. so i know what i have and of what colors and i take those little stickers that you lable with and lable what is in each box. plus a thing i like to do to is take some garlic salt and regular salt and put them on my soft plastics wile they are in the box for extra sent and taste. just something i have always done.

I use worm binders, but my boat is small and have no storage, I do like the plastic box idea.
If you ever go to farm pond or fish from shore it lightens your load.

I use gallon zip lock bags. I lable each one in a category such: 10 inch worm, creature baits, finesse worms, etc. I keep a few different colors in each bag that I have confidence in. Since I started doing this it has givin me a little more room where they can pack a little tighter.

I only use the boxes for organizing the hundreds of packs I have AT HOME. I know what Im going to throw before I go and I can fit what I need for that particular day in my shirt pocket.

Last year it was two dresser drawers piled full of packs of plastics. Needless to say I could never find what I needed even when I knew I had it.

Seems like caveman logic, but I organize by tubes, creatures, worms, trailers & chunks, and craws. I then organize them by color (water clarity) and run a zip-tie through the holes in the package (where they hang on the shelves).

If the water is dirty, I have what I need ready to go. If the water is clear, again I have what I need. Keep it simple and save yourself some cash.

For home, I bought tupperware dressers that college students use for dorm rooms. I organize the compartments into plastics, crankbaits, topwater, and terminal tackle. This makes it very easy to keep everything organized (a big must if you're married) and easy to find.

I like those cloth tackle bags for my soft plastics. They have the Fenwick name on them but BPS also has a full line of these small tackle bags. Like most, I organize the bags based on what's in them and then lable each on top, so I know immediately what I reaching for. I like the bags over hard tupperware boxes becasue they only take up as much room as the tackle you've got in them. They do cost a little more, but the Fenwick brand is very durable and last a long time.
