In addition to the blank and parts, you'll need epoxy for gluing the reel seat and handle, thread for wrapping the guides, flex coat or other epoxy for covering the thread wraps, a rod wrapper to help you wrap the guides in place, a drying motor for spinning the rod while the epoxy on the threads dry, and some time.
