    Re: Onside kick

It took some stones to make that call for sure. If they don't recover there and give the Colts the ball at midfield to start the second half, the game is probably over.

I disagree that it was the turning point of the game. The Colts got the ball back and drove right down the field and regained the lead.

IMO the Saints offense being able to drive and run clock, kepping Manning off the field was the turning point in the game. Tne the interception was just the final nail in the coffin.

Naw didn't say or think it was the turning point either but it did ceratinly shell shock the Colts, you could see the look on their faces. They knew right then they were in a fight.

It was a gutsy call. I don't think it was a smart call but it was a turning point and worked out great for them. This compounded the effect it had on the Colts defense since they had been on the field most the second quarter. But, I did think it took unusually long for them to make the call as to who had the ball at the end of the play. The interception happened when the game was already in doubt. The Saints played good. You have to give them their props.
From a motivation standpoint they had basicly the whole country behind them. The crowd was backing them that's for sure. They might as well have played the game in the Superdome.

Yea alot of folks behind them that's for sure, Rather it was a good move or not, that little not show up and concede two losses deal at the end of the regular season soured alot of people on the Colts this year. I personally believe yesterday the better team won.
