    Float-n-fly?

What is the float-n-fly? I think I know the basic rig, a hair jig under a slip float. I may be wrong. I would like to know all that I can about the Float-N-Fly. Any tips?

    Thanks, DJ

well if u reallly wanna know everthign about the FNF lookup some of elnutsmalljaws posts on here and read into them.... or next time u are out somewhere and see the fnf video by punisher jigs and get it and watch it... and to begin with u dont use a slip bobber its a three way swivel with a specially top weighted bobber and u clip it onto the three way swivel.... but mr elnutsmalljaw knows what he is talking about....

You are right on.......really simple rig.....it's basically an extended version of a crappie jig/bobber rig. The only difference is you fix your bobber WAY up your line, like 10-14ft, to a 3-way swivel. They don't use a slip bobber, for various reasons. They also use attractant called "dope". All this stuff is available at BPS and Gander Mtn. They also have to use really long poles to cast those really long leaders. Poles in the 9-10ft range. As far as fishing it, find ya a main lake point or secondary point, cast it out and crack a beer open.
