Oh, don't get me wrong, it is a small price to pay to enjoy a day on the water. I just wish, along with others, that they would use some of the money to increase lighting at the ramps on Laurel that currently don't have much.It does work on other Forest Service lakes at least. You can use an annual pass on Cave Run for example. And not to take a side but its not that high to be fair. $30 is the annual pass its like $3 a day or something. Its still cheaper than most lake ramps these days. Many are $5 a day. I have seen some up to $8 and some are more.

Yep, he is right in the last week there have been 6 trucks missing cats at Marsh Branch seems they only get the ones from outside the area. I wouldnt park there in the day time a couple were hit on day trips.
Very obviously a group workin the lake Im sure locals know who they are.
The sherriff's office seems to justify it by citing the lack of jobs in the area.
Leave a one step meth lab next to your truck and I bet they'll take that and leave your cat alone. Just a suggestion.![]()
What is up with the hillbilly's around Laurel Lake? This crap has been happening for years now. It shouldnt be to hard to monitor the very few ramps that the lake has.
I agree If I have to pay to launch my boat they should have to pay a gaurd to watch the parking lot. Really what does the launching fees realy go for, can't see anything. The lights at flatwoods don't even work. Hard to see what's in the restroom especially at night.. Just my two cents worth I could go on and on.
