BassPro Carbonlite Rods

Was at Bass Pro earlier and saw the carbonlite rods for the first time. They were very light and seemed pretty strong. Im just wondering if anybody has one yet and what they think of it. I dont know why but I have always been a little weary of bass pro rods. Im looking for an all purpose casting rod for shaky heads and light jigs but I cant make up my mind what I want. Not looking to spend over $150 so any ideas on what to get is appreciated.

Light jigs and shakey heads = Medium action rod with an extra fast tip. 1/4 or higher, go with a medium heavy.

I work there and have been messing with those rods since they came in trying to figure out how they would hold up and one of the guys in the fishing department was headed to falcon this weekend I believe to try everything he could to break one so we will see how well they hold up! They seem like awesome rods for the money and the sensitivity is awesome as well...

I just bought one a few weeks ago and love the feel of it. I've been casting in the snow in my back yard the past few evenings and can't find anything negative with them yet... Of course, I haven't put them through the rigors of a day of fishing yet, but they seem like high quality rods. Great thing about BPS rods are you can trade them in for a new one if it breaks or return them within a year for money back.

I recently bought one as well and so far I am satisfied. I havent tried it out on the water yet but it seems to be made well and it's as light as a feather.
