I'm sure Dave can answer your guys questioned better than me, but ill give you my thought process as it is now and i hope to learn alot more in the future also. But what to throw is mainly about current, usually from the dams and sometimes from the wind. When theres good current the crankbait is hard to beat, thats also when that swimbait came into play big time. When they arnt pulling any current, and theres no wind or anything thats when your c-rigs, the big worms, and football jigs come into play. and you usually have to really slow down. I usually like to start off with a crankbait no matter what and try to fire up the school, but if thats not working it doesnt take me long to slow down. Once you catch one tho you want to cast right back on that spot because the school might be a little fired up. And like i said, i dont want to go into to much detail because i know Dave and some other fella's can give you a more in depth feel of whats going on, but i hope i helped a little.
