    Thumbs up Signature Win

It's amazing what 100% effort will do. At MSG against St Johns no effort at all and get spanked. Today everybody gave 100% plus and they beat the number three team in the Nation on the road and in front of the largest Attendance in ANY arena all year.

Go figure.............Is it enough,,, heck no but at least they went on the good side of the bubble for the moment anyway. Good game fellas. Gutsy performance by Marra, the kid ain't bashful that's for sure, lol.
    Go Cards.

We needed abig win for sure. We can't rest on this win though. We need to win some more and probable make semifinals to have a legitimate shot at getting off the so called bubble.

You are right Mark. The effort and determination was there, but it is only a signature win if they finish strong.

As mush as I have dogged that kid Marria he rose to the occasion. He had a nice game. I love the fact they did not give up and they did not get down on themselves. I just hope they can keep it up and realize what they can do when they play 40 minutes and not 35 or 37.

I was a little concerned with the free throw shooting especially with Jerry Smith.

    Good win for the Cards.

They can still go dancin with a strong finish - Pitino has a knack for having his teams peak at the right time. It's a late start, but they just might eek in.

Me too Ryan. Sosa goes to the line and clanks another front end of a 1 and 1. I said here we ^*(%ing go again and walked out of the room for a split second. Sosa and Smith both are senior's and they cannot hit free throws when they matter, I don't understand that as major college basketball players.

I figured they would blow it when that in bounds play happened. Almost like they were scared to mess up?

I'm old school all the way....free throw shooting should be practiced like crazy. I know it's not flashy and hardly makes sportscenter but alot of games are won or lost by them.

Good win...when they watch the game film they will note that Samuels 3 times during the game rotated away from the basket and a dunk each time. If they can work on that it will definitely help....

They may have to win out to get in though,

That was a big win. They just need to win the ones they are suppose to the rest of the way and have a decent showing in the BE tourney and I think they are in to.
