I think you are fibbing there a bit, lol. 7 to 8 inches here in Oldham County now and it's falling like there is no tomorrow and doesn't look like it's gonna stop anytime soon. We are gonna get 10 to 12 inches here no doubt. Looks like the Snow Monster was right again...
And it's only going to get worse boy's...The president saw his shadow today so we've got three more years of bad government....I mean weather..LOL
LOL, Good one Chuck. Hey come to think about it has anybody else noticed the weather has went from bad to ALOT WORSE since Obama too office. Hey if we can blame Bush for Katrina surely I can blame Barry for the winter from Hell.
I am getting a little tired of snow! This is crazy.
No - the sun was really out for about a half-hour. In fact, the sky had more sun than clouds. It's clouded back up, though, but hasn't been snowing more than just a few flakes since about 9AM. I'd say we have about 4 inches on the ground.
Has just quit snowing here in Ohio Co. Man I am getting sick of the cold and snow, was hoping to get away from the snow at the Bassmasters Classic but looks the same there too. Man come on SPRING>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Looks like the back side of that LPS is getting ready to hit us...another inch or two is on the way.![]()
Driving to work in Oldham County this morning was rough! I have a little car with summer tires on it and a very tourqey engine and driving through this mess is all but impossible!
The Louisville Airport must be under a roof because at 1:30PM, their official total was 3.9".
I think people sometimes go out and put a ruler in the deepest drift they can find and call that the total.
Michael I can assure you I know how to measure snow. The NWS didn't get squat, but we got hammered. I have been shoveling and or riding a tractor since 4:45am this morning and I just came in the house I'm exhausted. Give me your e-mail and I'll send you a pick of my picnic table in the backyard it's a BUNCH of snow. Best I can tell here in Buckner we got about 8 inches maybe a fuzz more and it's still frickin snowing lightly. Read Belski's blog about some of these totals around here........ my back ain't hurting right now from some 3 or 4 inch snow, lol.
Come on down I'll pay your gas money and you can help me shovel some more tomorrow, our shop is buried. I've got snow piles I made with a front loader that are 8 feet high and thirty feet in circumfrance.
Check out the Cochras official way to measure snowfall......you have to collect in a test tube, melt and measure. I'm thinking just stick a ruler in a consistent spot and there you have it. I just got done shoveling our 200+ foot driveway. My back says about 5 inches in Floyd County.
