If you want to see high risk check out Megabass lures. Everything they make is $25 and up. Your throwing a $25 lure on 10lb line. At least with swimbaits you can use 25lb or more.

Megabass jerkbaits are the best I have ever used. Yes, I get a little nervous when I start bumping rocks, but I still haven't lost one - had a couple close calls.

When I was working some at fisherman's headquarters in Draffenville I sold a couple of $100 megabass topwater baits - they were hand carved and hand painted, I would say they are sitting on someone's mantle, I seriously doubt they have touched the water. They didn't even look like they functional lures - but I would guess they would catch fish somewhere.
