    Re: SW Indiana Fishing

You can easily fish Bluegrass or any of the pits around out of either the john or the canoe. I definately would NOT reccommend either for the river. I have seen canoes in the river but I personally would not attempt it. I'm not sure how stable it would be in heavy boat traffic. Little Pigeon and Cypress creeks, in Warrick County would be possibilities also........

With a 10' jon I'd keep a eye on the weather if you're fishing bluegrass. The lake lays north to south with nothing to block it. It doesn't take much for it to white cap.

As far as ticks go I only use Repel with Permanone. It's for clothing only. If you're going to be throwing from the bank that's what I'd use.

With so many little backwoods pits, how is the pressure on a lot of them. Do many people bother with them. Or do the larger reservoirs attract most people.
