KVD is the best bass fisherman alive without question. The guy is a human bass catching machine. Top Dog without any question, very few are even close.

I think ESPN did a great job covering the classic. Think about it. A 4 hour turn around after weigh ins to get it on tv by 10. I think thats pretty incredible. And yeah KVD is the man. I honestly thought his fish were goin to run out by day 3. I was dead wrong on that one.

I agree KVD seems virtually unstoppable, I try to look towards the future and see who's up and coming and really I don't see another KVD in the farm system, but with that being said I personally was pulling for Jeff Kreit! I think a win by him would have been so emotional and would have been an awesome experience and way more than a few fist pumps - been there done that just give me my trophy. I have nothing but the highest regards for KVD in his abilities and thought for sure Skeet would have done better seeing that as of late he has seemed like the only one giving him a pure run for the money.
As I thought about KVD and comparing him to the great ones ie. Clunn, Nixon, Martin ect... I could only think to myself that it seems we will be faced with KVD on top for a long time because the guy stays as current as anybody in regards to techniques and is constantly working on colors/baits/rods and lines to keep him on top - he seems to want to be there for a long, long time.
I found it funny Zona (close friend of KVD) said KVD told him 3 months ago what Rod, Line, lure and area he was going to fish and possibly win the tournament if it plays out like he thought it would............ amazing
Here's another astounding fact: KVD makes the classic 20 times. He's 42 now so that means he has been in the classic since he was 22 yrs old. 99% of us at 22 yrs old have a hard time getting out of bed.
i agree with you idbe! he is a great fisherman. i was really pulling for kriet man is he due or what
