I'm not into pants hanging off, or thugish behavior either. I have been a UK fan for as long as I can remeber, and it will never be like the days of old, its just something you either have to deal with or stop following the team. I think this team has a lot of growing up to do, but as young as they are, what more can you expect as a fan? These players are just college kids, and they have to learn about life they way we all did. I know I'm not the same today as I was in my teen, or twenties for that matter. If you want the best talent in the country, you have to take them for what they are, and try to teach them to be young men. You could have a Tubby team or BCG team....we see how that turned out. I love this team, and am proud to be a Wildcat fan, they have brought the fun back to basketball in the Bluegrass, and if tempers or rough physical play is part of it, than I am fine with that. We have a team of talent and fire that we have not had in years. GO CATS!!!!!!

I know where your coming from with seeing UK winning again and having that confidence in their step but I don't like the thug tough guy image especially when you can compare Patterson to these young guys or go back even farther to some of Pitino's/Tubby's teams.

I like to see a program dominate (I love it) but it just sits better with me when it's done with class. I hope UK goes all the way....I hope even more that they learn how class and growing into a man means alot more in the long run.

This attitude of the young players is why I loved to watch Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy, Sam Bradford, Mark Ingram and others...I know these are football players but I just love to watch an athlete excel and do it with class as they grow.

Sure these guys get excited and getting rowdy once in a while is acceptable but Bledsoe does it cause he gets away with it. Cousins is doing better IMHO but should learn to stop taunting people. Wall shows more class than those two and Patterson seems to have the right idea.

I would have to agree, but Patterson and guys like Chuck Hayes don't come along very often. I would love to have a team full of guys like this, but they are diamonds in the rough. You have to take whats out there, and why not take the best.

If only they played more often cause they are fun to watch...I really wish they would start playing at 7pm!! That 9pm start time puts a hurting on me.

Yeah, tell me about it. The primetime game slot kills me. I guess its the whole "the older I get" thing. I need coffee, and all the lights on to watch some of these games.

Patterson is a classy young man without question. A model for the other fellas to strive for. Wall for a freshmen holds himself very well.

I wish you guys could listen to the Larry Glover show on 590am...A lot of courtside insite on how other teams like to mix it up as well...
